TEFAP - The Emergency Food Assistance Program
This program provides low-income individuals and households with surplus commodities donated to the food bank by USDA. This program is designed to supplement the nutritional needs of program eligible individuals and households; but is not designed to satisfy all hunger needs or nutritional requirements of participating individuals or households.
CSFP - Commodity Supplemental Food Program
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a specialty food program that provides a monthly supplemental food box for those senior citizens 60 years and older This program is designed to promote good nutritional health for at risk populaces. Senior citizens age sixty and above are all at risk for nutritional deficiencies.
Kids Healthy Eating Program
This program is geared toward providing children with nutritious food on the weekends when school is not in session. The Yuma Community Food Bank is working in conjunction with schools to provide backpacks during the school year.
