On July 6th YCFB received a generous cash donation of $5182.21 from the Safeway Foundation, on behalf of Yuma's local Albertons' store on 32nd street. This donation was then converted into 2,592 gallons of milk received today for distribution. With warmer days and children out of school, YCFB has been experiencing high volumes of services needed, with an average DAILY total of over 200 families in need.
Thank you Albertsons' for this amazing donation, it truly comes at a time of need.

Without the support of our volunteers, YCFB would not be able to provide food service to the over 26,000 individuals who have frequented the food bank monthly, since April. RDO is one of the organizations who regularly volunteer at the food bank, providing much need support during this busy season. Thank You RDO for being here every other week without fail! We are grateful!!
Thank you Mike at Gardner Construction and Jesse at Desert Door in Yuma!! Your donation of time, talent and treasure to the Yuma Community Food Bank is truly “swinging the door wide”…for participating agencies at the food bank. Not only will this new door keep them safe from dock traffic, it will also afford much need accessibility.
You guys ROCK!
