Yuma Community Food Bank relied on more than 10,000 volunteers last year whose hours totaled 160,231. It's pretty incredible to see so many caring individuals pass through our warehouse throughout the year. Our various volunteer opportunities offer fun and unique ways for individuals and groups to contribute their time, talents and resources to help our neighbors in need. Volunteering is a great way to make friends, learn something new and have fun while fighting hunger in your community!
We offer activities Monday – Friday (during regular business hours)! Volunteers are the heartbeat of YCFB. We rely on the amazing support from our community to enable us to distribute 55,000 meals daily, five days a week.
Our projects include:
warehouse, client in-take, customer service, packing emergency food boxes, on-site food distribution, mobile food distribution in Dateland, Wellton, San Luis, Somerton and Yuma.
