On June 18, 2016 YCFB hosted the 1st Family Volunteer Day. An opportunity for families with small children to volunteer at the food bank. The generous Yuma community made this event a wonderful success. With 43 individuals helping during one of the warmest times of the year! YCFB shared and embraced the old adage: “Many hands make light work”, and truly experienced that today. From bagging onions to filling and distributing carts, this crew did an amazing job! Thank you for all you do for the Yuma community!
