Harvest Club

What is Harvest Club?

The Harvest Club program was added to the Yuma Community Food Bank under the name Harvest Club to serve as a self sustainable food program back in January 1996. It was established to assist families with stretching their food dollars. Many families in the low to middle income levels tend to live from paycheck to paycheck. The focus of the program is to increase self sufficiency, while making sure that families have access to nutritional meals.
Participants in the program may purchase a box of food for $25.00 dollars. The only requirement is a customer application survey must be filled out.
Harvest Club Program Discontinued until further Notice
The Harvest Club program consist of product purchased by the Food Bank at “wholesale” prices and the savings were passed on to the customers of the Food Bank. At this point we are unable to secure a consistent source of product that will allow us to keep this program viable without the use of resources that we believe would be more effective if applied to the Emergency Food Assistance Programs. We will continue to work to re-establish the program at a time when availability of product and resources would make the program viable again.
