Promoting Healthy Nutrition for Women, Infants, Children & Seniors
What is CSFP?
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a specialty food program that provides a monthly supplemental food box for woman, children, and senior citizens. This program was designed to help promote good nutritional health for an at risk populace. Pregnant women, women with infants, lactating women, babies, children under the age of six, and senior citizens age sixty and above are all at risk for nutritional deficiencies. CSFP food boxes offer a wholesome balance of food supplements that focus on iron rich nutrients. Pregnant women and women who are postpartum up to one year after birth and lactating women need to pay special attention to their dietary needs, CSFP. helps ensure that these needs are taken care of with healthy, protein rich foods.
