Yuma Community Food Bank wants to thank Yuma Investment Group for hosting the "Come Wine With Us At City Hall".  We raised over $10,000.00.  It was a really fun event, lots of good food prepared by Eddie Guzman and a great group of people!  Thanks to Bose for the generous donations and all the others that donated raffle items.  We look forward to the event again next year!

Red Nose day launched in the U.S. in 2015 with a mission to raise money and awareness to end child poverty, and has raised nearly $60 million to date for the cause. Money raised for the campaign goes to the Red Nose Day Fund, which supports programs that keep children in need safe, healthy and educated.

Stop by Walgreens here in Yuma and purchase your "red nose" for $1.00.  Each nose sold $0.50 comes directly back.  Make sure that on May 25th you wear your nose...maybe you'll even see your picture posted!

Support Yuma Community Food Bank and put your "red nose" on May 25th!

Today we have the pleasure of some of the members of Trinity United Methodist Church to come and volunteer.  The YCFB is always thankful to have so many wonderful organizations throughout the community come and volunteer.  We couldn't do it without the help that we receive from all of our great volunteers!

I just have to share this amazing group of young adults making a difference in our community!  The PPEP kids have so much passion and are driven to help as many people as they can. They are collecting food throughout the community in hopes of collecting 5,000 pounds to donate to the Yuma Community Food Bank next Friday April 21st.  They have gone door to door in San Luis, set up donation boxes throughout all of Yuma County. They are such hard workers and are so dedicated.  I am so pleased to be a part of this group and organization! I cannot wait until they come to YCFB next Friday. They have a goal to reach and a desire to break a record...keep you posted next week for the end result!
