Today we have the pleasure of some of the members of Trinity United Methodist Church to come and volunteer.  The YCFB is always thankful to have so many wonderful organizations throughout the community come and volunteer.  We couldn't do it without the help that we receive from all of our great volunteers!

I just have to share this amazing group of young adults making a difference in our community!  The PPEP kids have so much passion and are driven to help as many people as they can. They are collecting food throughout the community in hopes of collecting 5,000 pounds to donate to the Yuma Community Food Bank next Friday April 21st.  They have gone door to door in San Luis, set up donation boxes throughout all of Yuma County. They are such hard workers and are so dedicated.  I am so pleased to be a part of this group and organization! I cannot wait until they come to YCFB next Friday. They have a goal to reach and a desire to break a record...keep you posted next week for the end result!

Just around the corner for the Wine Event at City Hall.  We still have a few tickets remaining.  If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, let me know. We have many wonderful raffle prizes to give away!  Looking forward to some delicious appetizers from Chef Eddie Guzman and a wonderful wine selection from no other than Michael Shelhamer (owner) Old Town Wine Cellar. Should be a great event!  Hope to see you there!
