The agency program provides food products to qualified, non-profit social service agencies.  Product in this program is donated through the local grocery stores, produce companies, community food drives, USDA and America's Second Harvest.  America's Second Harvest, the Nations Food Bank (A2H) network is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to soliciting quality food products from major national food manufacturers in order to help the nation's food banks.  Yuma Community, a member of A2H serves qualified agencies throughout Yuma and La Paz County.  in fiscal year 2004-2005, the Food Bank received and distributed 150,00 pounds of Second Harvest product.  In addition to Second Harvest product, we offer many other donated items.  The total distribution for all food bank programs reaches over twelve (12) million pounds.
